Consultative Sales promoting REACH Services
Global Manager REACH Consulting Services
SUMMARY:
Manages the sales and consulting processes for the global REACH team in order to provide scientific expertise and support to external clients for registration under new European guidelines.
Promotes cross selling opportunities to other member companies to maximize sales and profitability for the organization as a whole.
Reports to the President of Laboratory in Switzerland.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively grow the REACH Services business into a significant profit contributor to the Group within the next two years.
Directs and coordinates promotion of global REACH services to both current and future customers.
Responsible for maintaining existing accounts.
Develop new markets and increase market share through profitable value added customer services per the established REACH 5 year plan.
Functional knowledge of regulatory approval process for the European Union on REACH.
Coordinates the activities of the Global REACH team to achieve operational efficiency.
Must be able to coordinate scientist across a multi-national team.
Keeps abreast of environmental situations by staying very close to the customer and developing good day-to-day relationships with senior customer management personnel.
Represents the company in industry presentations, customer presentations with high level customer management.
Defines the objectives and framework to best ensure customer satisfaction.
Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals.
Direct global P&L responsibilities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Country specific appropriate degree in chemistry, toxicology or biology.
MBA or 5 to 10 years experience managing a consulting business.
Working understanding of REACH legislation and its application.
P&L Responsibility.
3 ? 5 years global business experience.
3 ? 5 years of business management experience.
Name recognition within prospective customer base desired.

Ability to work with statistics, graphs, and scientific data for analysis and to develop recommendations for clients.
